A tractor trailer crash on Route 32 in Finksburg resulted in traffic delays and extensive clean-up. Gamber & Community Fire Co. was alerted for the crash at 8:07 am on Friday, March 7. It was located in the southbound lane of Sykesville Road between Lemans Court and Bollinger Mill Road. No other vehicles were involved.

Units arrived and found a tractor trailer lying on its side with its load of bags of mulch spilled onto the shoulder and on a home's lawn. Chief 13-2, Shawn Chenoweth assumed command and requested Rescue Squad 12 from Sykesville and Carroll County Haz Mat 30 for a fuel leak.

One person was transported to the hospital after the crash. Gamber units remained on the scene for two hours before returning to the station.
