You Can Make a Difference
As with any volunteer organization, we are dependent on local residents for both monetary donations and membership. We do receive operational subsitiies from the Carroll County Department of Fire/EMS. However, money for new equipment and renovations to our fire house must be procured through business and residential fund-raisers.
We are grateful for everything we receive from the Community and for all you do for us. By donating to Gamber and Community Fire Company, you are helping us be better equipped, more prepared and respond to all emergencies as fast as possible.
How much should I donate?
What value do you place on knowing that your Fire Department has the equipment and training they need to protect you, your loved ones, and your property whenever you call 9-1-1? Isn’t this sense of security worth at least as much as one month’s cable service? We hope you will agree that it is and will choose to respond by sending in a tax-deductible donation today.
Donations to the Gamber may be made in the following categories:
General Contribution – funds will be designated for the operating budget
EMS Contribution – funds will be designated for the Emergency Medical Services budget
Fire Suppression Contribution – funds will be designated for the firefighting mission of the company
Dive/Water Rescue – funds will be designated for the dive/water rescue team
Building Fund Contribution – funds will be designated for the capital projects fund
Contribution in Memory of ………. – funds can be contributed in memory of a loved one and/or family member or any other person
Scholarship Fund - funds will be designated for fire company scholarships
Fund Drive - funds will be designated for the annual fund drive
Please mark in the special instructions to the seller what the donation is for.
