2024 Awards Presented at March Company Meeting |

The Gamber & Community Fire Company presented several honors and awards to its members for 2024 at the regular company meeting on Monday, March 17, 2025. Additional awards will be presented at the April 2025 company meeting. Charles Green Jr. was presented with the Herman Hoff Memorial Award for outstanding service in fund raising. Chrissy Yingling was honored as the Administrative Member of the Year. Dale Bollinger was recognized as the outgoing president and for serving thirteen years in that position. He served from 2008 – 2015 and again from 2020 – 2024. Life Member, Past Chief, and Past President, Robert Klinefelter, was recognized by the Maryland State Firefighters Association (MSFA) for 51 years in the Fire, EMS, and Rescue service. Bob served Gamber as the Chief from 1978 – 1980 and from 1982 – 1983. He served as president in 2002 and again in 2007. The following members responded to the most fire suppression/rescue/water rescue calls for 2024: 1. Shawn Chenoweth – 313 The following members had the most fire suppression training hours for 2024: 1. Emily Franklin – 71.5 The following members had the most EMS calls for 2024: 1 – Alexandra Mitchell -17 The following members had the most EMS training hours in 2024: 1. Sean Baldwin – 512 The following members had the most fundraising hours in 2024: 1. Charlie Green Jr - 470 |
