Gamber & Community Fire Co. was alerted for an engine transfer request at 6:34 pm on Saturday, January 18. The request was made by the Baltimore County Fire Department to transfer to Station 8 in Fullerton, eastern Baltimore County. Baltimore County was handling a multi-alarm industrial fire in the Dundalk area of the county.

The engine transferred to Station 8 quarters. Staffing included a career driver/operator and three volunteers with Captain Michael Green as officer. During the transfer, the engine responded to three medical calls and one vehicle collision on Lillian Holt Drive in Rossville.

Baltimore County released the engine around midnight and it returned to Carroll County.
