The Gamber & Community Fire Co. recently placed a new duty vehicle in service. The truck is a 2023 Ford F150 STX 4 x 4 Supercrew pickup. It will be designated as Duty 13.

Duty 13 was purchased from 911 Rapid Response, Emergency & Commercial Vehicle Upfitter, in Annville, Pennsylvania.

The new duty vehicle committee was co-chaired by Chief Chad Hastings and Assistant Chief Charlie Green. It was delivered in April 2024 after having been ordered in December 2023.

Among other activities, this vehicle will be the command post for any large incidents in Gamber's fire district. The new truck replaces the existing Duty 13 which is a 2004 Ford Expedition.
