Fire Prevention Week kicked off in Gamber with two station tours on Monday, October 10. Three and Four year olds from a local preschool participated along with their teachers, parents, and grandparents. The tours were organized and conducted by Bridgit Weishaar who is the company's Fire Prevention Chairman. She was assisted by members of the company. Tours were scheduled for the entire week and will include all kindergarten classes from Mechanicsville Elementary School. |

Each child got to touch the firefighter's gloved hand in order to know what it would be like if the firefighter was trying to rescue them in a real fire.
