BENSON ROAD HOUSE FIRE

Gamber & Community Fire Co. and neighboring companies were alerted for a house fire at approximately 11:39 am on Tuesday, December 28, 2010, Box 13-8. Engine Tanker 133 arrived on the scene and reported a working fire with smoke and fire from the rear of the dwelling.

First units on the scene attacked the fire aggressively as additional units responded and coordinated a water supply from Deer Park Road and Benson. Additional tankers were alerted for the call and a water supply shuttle was established.There was extensive damage to the rear and to the interior of the house.

Units cleared and returned to their stations between 2:00 and 3:00 pm. Deputies from the Office of the State Fire Marshal were investigating. E101 from New Windsor filled in the Gamber station.
